One of the types of workflows you can create using SharePoint Designer 2010 is the site workflow. This type of workflow is not attached to a list or library but rather to a site itself. In this video, you will see how to accomplish that. In addition, you will also see how to modify the user interface form, that this workflow creates, using InfoPath 2010.

Hi Asif, So I open my form in InfoPath but when I go to save and publish my edits, I get an invalid URL error?
Any idea what’s happening?
Thanks
DK
very helpful! thx
You should note that in 2010 “Site Workflows” is no longer available from the Site Actions Menu.
You need to go to: Site Actions/view all site content/
and it is now next to the Create button on the top of the page.
