SharePoint 2010: Taxonomy Management DVD

Valerie BlackBefore viewing the SharePoint-Videos set on Term Store Management, I did not have hands on familiarity with this feature of SharePoint 2010. I used the training provided by the Term Store Management video course to help us better organize our document libraries, and to remove folders as document libraries (we had problems with folder views). Using the term store enabled us to prepare personalized home pages which proved far more useful than the folder views for individual users. I also used the term store to create customized dashboards which provided staff with more useful access to documents in the document libraries. Using filters created from the term store proved much more useful a method of searching for specific documents than was the case without these filters.
